    Thank u 4 answering last question. I feel better about going solo. My next question is, what is the fastest way to get to the boardwalk resort from POR? I would like to walk around and check out the stores along boardwalk. Thank u again!!!

    Hi Stacy,

    I'm so happy to hear that you're feeling better about your solo trip! It's going to be a much needed break for a busy mom!

    From Port Orleans Riverside, I would take the bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios and then walk or boat over to the Boardwalk Resort. I actually did this one morning on my last solo trip. I chose to walk but I observed the boat traffic and I arrived the resort about the same time. The walk is very relaxing on a nice day.

    If you choose the boat, exit your bus at the Studios then follow the crowd towards the plaza in front of the entrance. Instead of veering left towards the security area, veer right towards the boat dock.

    If you choose to walk, you'll take the path alongside the water. If the water is on your left, you are headed the right way.

    The fastest route would be via taxi. Allow one hour of travel time for the above route.
