Hi! Thank you for answering my earlier question. I have one more. When I registered my profile on the WDW website I did it with a shorter form of my name. SO my name on my tickets does not match with the one in my passport. Will that be a problem?

Hello again, Vidhya! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You are even closer to your vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort now than the last time we spoke! How exciting! I know you are busy with the last-minute details and packing for your journey. All of your planning is about to pay off and I know you will have a wonderful visit!

In my family, my husband is known by a shortened version of his first name, so even though his photo identification has his full first name, we usually put the shortened "nickname" version on our Disney vacations. We have never had any trouble picking up theme park tickets with the shortened version of his name. Even though this is our experience, it might be a good idea to call or chat with a Cast Member to verify that this is still the case. They can update your name in My Disney Experience and on your tickets if they feel it is necessary. You can chat with them by using the "United States (English)" version of the Walt Disney World website, or by calling them at (407) 566-4985.

I hope this helps, Vidhya! Enjoy every moment of your vacation and please let us know if you have any other questions.
