    I would like to thank Amber V. - PA for her reply to my prevoius question on large groups. I would also like to ask her, "if i call the the Great Gatherings" to get planning info, can I get information without having to make reservations at that

    I'm glad that my previous answer was helpful to you!

    You can absolutely give the Magical Gatherings planners a call just to gather information to help you make your upcoming travel plans. They will be able to help you narrow down your resort choices and give you price quotes to discuss with the other members of your group. You are never under any obligation to book reservations unless you'd like to.

    However, you will have the option to place a courtesy hold on a particular reservation if you'd like to. The cast member you speak with will be able to place a hold on a reservation that you are especially interested in booking. The hold will last for a week before it expires. You can use that time to think over your options and talk to your family to decide if you'd like to book that reservation. There is no charge for the courtesy hold, and you are under no obligation to book. If you decide you would like to book, you can call back to place a deposit and book your vacation.
