Thank you again for your help!!! If you had to pick your favorite three restaurants -- that are each only one dining credit -- which three would you pick? Also, what are your favorite places for lunch? It seems like places don't have lunches. Thanks!!!!!

    Hi Jen,

Thanks for writing!  This is a tough, but fun question to answer!  You might want to try asking again to get a variety of opinions!

My current top three one-table service restaurants are:
    • Sanaa at Kidani Village at Animal Kingdom Lodge - I ate here for the first time back in August, and loved it.  We dined on Indian and African-inspired dishes while staring at a savanna filled with beautiful animals.  I loved the tandoori chicken, and my husband really enjoyed the sustainable fish (halibut) wrapped in a banana leaf.  We enjoyed it so much, that we had dinner there 2 of our 5 nights!  We even had the same exotic bird sitting at the window beside us both times!
    • Tutto Italia at the Italian Pavillion at Epcot - I love Italian food, and Tutto Italia is one of the best restaurants I've dined at!  My kids adore the children's menu, and the desserts are unbelievable!  Seriously, how can you go wrong with cappuccino, tiramisu and cannoli?
    • Le Cellier at the Canadian Pavillion at Epcot - I love steak almost as much as I love Italian food, and Le Cellier is one of the best places for steak on property.  In addition to wonderful cuts of beef, Le Cellier has fantastic appetizers (the cheese soup is super popular, but I also love the very fresh salads) and great desserts. The apple-rhubarb crumble is amazing, and the chocolate "moose" is super yummy!  It even has antlers!

To answer the second part of your question, I tend to eat lighter meals for lunch and "save room" for dinner.  Some of my favorite spots for an afternoon meal include Captain Jack's at Downtown Disney, Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater (largely because my kids think it's the coolest place to eat lunch on property), Earl of Sandwich, also at Downtown Disney and Plaza Restaurant at Magic Kingdom.

    Have a delicious Disney trip!
