Thank you for your advice, I didn't know there were so many things to do at FW. When do the boat traveling between WL and FW start in the morning? And FW's internal buses? Traveling this September. Again, thank you for your ideas and recommendations. :-)

Hi Ivan! Yes, for many it is a hidden gem at Walt Disney World as far as resorts go. We love it there and love how we can get away from the crowds and find peace and quiet in so many ways. Even the pools don't ever feel as used but they still offer slides and fun activities.

The boats to the resorts actually start quite early at 6:30am so families who need to make it to character dining can get there on time. If you want to get to the Magic Kingdom early to see the opening rope drop ceremonies up close then I always suggest you take the resort boat to the Contemporary and walk to the park or hop on the monorail.

The internal buses run fairly regularly but no more then a 15 minute wait from my experience. There are many stops so whether you are staying in a cabin or one of the camping loops you have easy access. We do love walking in the resort and they have great sidewalks so this can be done safely by the guests.

Definitely pick an evening to head to Chip and Dale's Campfire Singalong and movie that follows. It is fun and with live entertainment as well as our favorite chipmunk characters hosting it is an evening of smiles.

If there is anything I can do to assist you with your plans please let me know. We will also arrive later in September for a fall stay and we can't wait!  September in Florida still remains warm and humid but hoping for a start of a break at least in the evenings.
