Hello, and thank you in advance, i have this question, if im going to do park hopper, and i get Disney Genie plus, can i book my first lightning lane on the park i plan to visit first and the book the second and on for the second park? or how it is?

    Hola Miguel!

Welcome to planDisney! Your magical trip is coming soon! I'm so excited to help you and I hope you make sure to check out the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. This is my favorite Festival at EPCOT with its beautiful topiaries and delicious, fresh flavors!

Genie+ is a great solution for very efficient and fun Disney Park days! I love using it as my kids are not great when waiting in a long line. Using a Park Hopper Ticket with Genie+ is very easy. You can book your lightning lane for one Park and then when it is time, for another Park. There are some rules, however.  At 7 am, you can book a Lightning Lane reservation for the park for which you have a Park Reservation. I suggest you pick an early time for the ride you want to go on. Then, you can book another lightning lane two hours after the first Park's regular opening time. For example, today Magic Kingdom Park opened at 9 am for all guests. I can book my second Lightning Lane technically at 11 am. However, here is a trick, you can book your next Lightning Lane when either two hours have passed or if you used the one you made first! If I get at 7 am a Lightning Lane for Peter Pan's Flight at 10 am, the moment I check in to the ride and use it I can book another one! I don't have to wait till 11 am in this situation.

As your time to Park Hop approaches I would look to see what Lightning Lane times are available at the next Park. You can change your Park selections by clicking "Change Park" on top and it will show you what is available at the Park you are "hopping" to. It will only show you Lightning Lane times for after 2 pm as that is the time you can Park Hop. If you get confused about when you can make your next reservation there is now a time that displays on your app that lets you know. Make sure to set an alarm so you don't forget! If you stay on top of your bookings you will get a lot of use out of your Genie+ and breeze through your day!

Make sure to give yourself time to arrive at your second park. When using the complimentary Disney Resort Transportation I like to give myself an hour or so to travel to another Park.  If you want a quick option and are willing to pay a fee I love using the Minnie Van service which provides car seats, friendly Cast Member drivers, and can bring you very close to the Park Entrances.

I hope you have a wonderful time! Come back if you have any more questions! We have both an English and Spanish speaking planDisney site if you are interested! Have a magical day!
