Hi Erica!
Bravo that you have a Disney cruise on the calendar! Disney Cruise Line makes vacationing as a family so easy because
so much is included during your voyage. From food, entertainment, and activities, Captain Mickey has you covered. You will be able to immerse yourself in the Disney magic and make wonderful memories!
The only Guests who undergo a Disembarkation Day COVID-19 test are those that are doing
back-to-back sailings. So if that is your plan and if you did test positive at that time, you would be denied reboarding and would have to handle your return home travel plans as you see fit. But if you just had one itinerary and it was completed, Disney Cruise Line does not administer any additional testing at the port.
You may have testing requirements before heading home, depending on where you live and your method of transportation. But currently, most Guests who reside in the U.S. do not have any post-cruise testing requirements, and Florida does not have any required quarantine rules in place.
So count on that COVID-19 test before boarding on Embarkation Day, and hopefully when you receive the negative test results, it will be nothing but smooth sailing from that point forward. If you have any questions about the new cruising protocols, they can be found on the
Experience Updates page of the Disney Cruise Line website. This information gets updated frequently, so it should be a good resource for you to check as your January 2022 sail date gets closer.
Erica, I hope you are counting down the days until your incredible voyage. If we can assist you again, please chart a course to planDisney again!
Sherry
