"Hi Terry, Which Deluxe Resort is your favorite and why?" Thanks!

    Hi Rachel!

Thanks for your question. The Contemporary Resort is by far my favorite deluxe resort. It has everything a "Big Kid" like me can enjoy!

The first thing that immediately catches your attention is the fact that the monorail literally goes THROUGH the resort! But what surprises you is how quiet the monorail is. I expected it to be somewhat a distraction either by sound or rumbling, but you'll find none of that going throughout the resorts or in the room. Disney Imagineering at its best.

You then notice the modern, state-of-the-art feel, with tastefully done Disney decor in the buildings, architecture, and landscape.

The rooms are enormous, and stands as some of the biggest you'll find at any Disney resort. There's also so many transportation options: you can monorail to Epcot, catch a bus to Downtown Disney, catch the boat to Wilderness Lodge, or walk over to Magic Kingdom (about a 12-minute stroll with family) all in a day if you so desire.

For Dining, they have the ever-popular Chef Mickey's with characters in tow, the Wave with American style eating, the Contempo Cafe' quick service (which stays open pretty late), or the fine dining California Grill, overlooking the Seven Seas Lagoon and Cinderella's Castle.

If you decide to stay here, PAY the extra money for the Theme Park view. I promise you won't be disappointed. We would keep our curtains to our sliding door open, just to see the lights shining back at Cinderella's Castle (extra magical view during Christmas). And one night we just chilled in our room to watch the "Wishes" fireworks show right from our balcony (you can even hear the music and Jiminy Cricket's voice throughout).

I love it, my wife loves it, the kids love it, YOU'LL love it. If you think about staying anywhere, put this resort at the top of your list!
