Is it terribly uncommon for people to really dress up for dinner at Be Our Guest? This will be a very special evening for my husband and I, so want to look amazing. (A really nice semi-formal dress) But I also don't want to stick out like a sore thumb.

Hi, Laryssa! I see from your previous questions you will be visiting during your anniversary. Dining in a beautiful restaurant while celebrating your own love story sounds so romantic. Happy early anniversary to you! Be sure to pick up a 'Happy Anniversary' button either at the front desk of your Walt Disney World Resort hotel or at Guest Relations found in each Theme Park. Many Cast Members and even some other Guests will congratulate you on your special day. This brings a smile to my face and makes my own celebrations extra special!

Many guests will be in their Theme Park attire of flip flops and T-Shirts. However, I do not at all think you will be out of place and will look stunning in your semi-formal wear. I have seen many individuals dress up for a meal at Be Our Guest Restaurant, especially during the dinner hour. There will be a mixture of all types of apparel, so you will have absolutely nothing to worry about. All you need to do is pull up a chair, as the dining room proudly presents - your dinner! Oh - and don't forget to try the "Grey Stuff". The dishes will tell you it is delicious, and it is!

    Have a magical vacation, Laryssa!

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
