Hi again Cary,
Welcome Back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another great question! I'm glad to see that you are considering
Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in EPCOT for your daughters birthday. I really like this restaurant because it does seem slightly less crowded than Cinderella's Royal Table and guests still are able to dine with Disney Princesses. Because of Advanced Dining Reservations, I find that whenever you choose to dine the crowd levels are the same, and guests will have the same dining experience regardless. In terms of best food choices, it depends on your personal choice. Breakfast is typically more American selections served family style, with an all you care to eat buffet. Lunch and dinner feature more European food selections inspired by Norway. There is also a buffet for your appetizers.
I would base your dining time on your Princesses schedule. If she is an early riser, breakfast may be the best choice for your family. If your toddler is happiest after an afternoon nap lunch my be your best choice. If your toddler is content, everyone in your party will be more relaxed and you may even get to enjoy the cake you are planning to bring!
Whichever time you choose to dine, I'm sure you will have a magical dining experience celebrating your daughters birthday. If you have any other questions while planning, please come back and visit us again!
