Hello Moms! In terms of dealing with heat, which month is better? July or August. We plan to stay on property for the first time...what are your thoughts about the Dining Plans? There are 4 of us. Thanks so much. Love this panel!

    Hello Sonia!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your lovely compliment!!  From one Canadian to another, I can tell you that it’s hot hot HOT in Central Florida for this cold-weather gal in July and August. Historically, the average temperature for both months is relatively similar: around 92 degrees Fahrenheit. An important thing to note is that the crowds typically start to decrease after the second week of August. If you have to pick between July and August for your family’s upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, I would recommend visiting in late August.

The Disney Dining Plan can be a great value, especially if it’s your first time staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel.  My recommendation would be to choose the “standard” Disney Dining Plan because it gives you the best variety of table-service and counter-service dining experiences. My family loves experiencing table-service restaurants, so the Quick-Service Dining Plan isn’t a great fit for us. And, personally, I find that the Deluxe Dining Plan is overkill for my family (way too much food!) but some people absolutely love the increased choice and flexibility it gives them.

I hope I’ve helped you with some of your choices.  If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us again!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
