Hello Taylor,
Welcome to planDisney! My family loves a good meal with some fun and we finally had a chance to enjoy
Teppan Edo this year on our family trip. The Japan Pavilion is one of my favorite spots in EPCOT with its garden and the cute Mitsukoshi Department Store. The chef did a great presentation with fire, spinning eggs, and Disney details. I especially loved my Violet Sake which was both beautiful and delicious.
My son hates rice and my daughter is very particular about her vegetables. We found that Cast Members were very accommodating to our party and those who were at our table. There will most likely be an additional cost if you are looking to add more meat to your meal. Just ask and maybe that family member might like to try some new foods if they dip them in all the delicious sauce choices that are provided. If the person in your party does not eat those foods due to a medical or dietary issue then I would reach out to Special.diets@disneyworld.com about 2 weeks before you arrive with your dining reservation number and information. Make sure to detail the issue and they will let you know how they can prepare for your visit.
If you are interested in a delicious dessert head to the
Kabuki Cafe stand just outside of the Japan Pavilion. It has one of my most refreshing treats on a hot day- the
KakigÅri with Sweet Milk Topping! It's delicious and large enough to share!
I hope this helps and you have a delicious time!
Happy Planning!
