We are tent camping at Fort Wilderness the last week of Nov. Can you tell me more about the comfort stations (ex. how many shower stalls, wait time for showers)? Also, does it rain much this time of year? Family of 6- DH, me, DS(9),DD(8),DD(5), & gran

    Hi Melissa!

Fort Wilderness is one of my favorite resorts!  I just love camping in the beautiful atmosphere, but still being so close to Disney!  When we camp, we are in a pop-up trailer, so we use the comfort stations for our hygiene needs.  The comfort stations have 4-5 private showers and the same for toilets.  Out of all the times I have camped here, I have never had to wait in line for a shower.  (Crossing my fingers that you have the same experience!)

You are coming at such a great time of year!  The end of November seems to taper off a bit with the crowds who have left after Thanksgiving.  It doesn't rain too much, but I would still pack an umbrella or poncho just to be safe.  Ponchos are also for sale at pretty much any gift shop around Walt Disney World.  Sometimes the best time to visit the parks is when it's raining as the rain scares the guests away.

    Have a magical day!
