are the temps still warm to go to the water parks? nov 30 -dec 13

    Hi Amanda!

Thanks so much for sharing your question with me! It absolutely made my day!

My family and I love the Walt Disney World Resort Water Parks! We were just discussing both of them. We will be at Walt Disney World Resort soon and were trying to decide which Water Park to visit first.

I'm going to give you a "definite maybe" as the answer to your question. The average high in November and December varies between 74-78 degrees. We have visited Walt Disney World Resort during this time of year several times. In most cases, we wore hoodies in the morning and evening but the rest of the day was perfect. We have even visited our Resort hotel pool and the Water Parks during this time of year. However, there have been other years we wore jeans and coats throughout our vacation. There were several Guests that still enjoyed the pool and Water Parks during those same visits though.

Given that you are from Wisconsin and I am from Texas, your tolerance for cooler weather is most likely much higher than mine so you may be perfectly comfortable regardless of the temperature.

It looks like Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park may be undergoing refurbishment during your visit, but I would definitely tentatively plan a visit to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park! Just have a potential Plan B if needed. The best thing about the timing of your visit is that you will have oodles of activities for your Plan B.

My absolute favorite time of year to visit Walt Disney World Resort is during the holidays! If you don't plan to visit a Theme Park on the day you are scheduling your Water Park day, I would highly suggest you Resort hop and see all of the amazing decorations. The Resort hotels are breathtaking! One of my favorite stops is Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The larger than life gingerbread house will add magic and pixie-dust to your day!

I'm so excited for you as you plan your holiday vacation at Walt Disney World Resort! Please let me know if you need any other information as you plan each magical day!
