    What are the temps in the Bahamas in December? I am ordering shirts for our Christmas cruise but I don't know if I should order short or long sleeves. Is it colder on deck while the ship is sailing?

    Hi Amanda!

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You're asking about one of my family's favorite things to do in preparation for upcoming cruises: order matching family shirts! I knew my husband was "a keeper" while we were dating when he happily agreed to wear a matching shirt on our first Disney Cruise with my entire family. Haha! Now that we're married with a family of our own, taking family photos while wearing matching shirts made specifically for each voyage has become a family tradition!

    Embarking on a voyage to the Bahamas around the holiday season will be perfect! The temperatures during the month of December in Nassau, Bahamas ranges from a low of around 64 degrees to a high of around 79 degrees. The evenings are definitely chillier while on deck. The weather is usually beautiful during the day while the ship is docked in Nassau. When my family orders matching shirts for Disney Cruises, we usually order T-shirts to wear during the day and order a second shirt, either long-sleeved or sweatshirt, for the evening.

    I highly recommend having a photo taken by the photographers onboard while wearing your matching shirts! This will make for such a festive and cute holiday family photo!
