I have a temporary disability and am bringing an electric scooter to help guide me through the parks. What should I do when I get to Disneyland?

    Hello Marsha!

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for bringing your question our way!

On a recent vacation with my mother, she utilized a mobility scooter. A day at the Disneyland Resort includes a lot of walking. So, I recommend a Wheelchair or Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) to anyone that feels it may help them have a more enjoyable experience. When riding an attraction please double-check with a Cast Member before entering the standby line. Many scooters can be taken through the attraction queue. But, you may be assigned a time to come back later for the attractions that do not allow it. You will be asked about your ability to transfer to the ride and a Cast Member will direct you where to park your electric scooter while you enjoy the attraction.

If you need to charge your mobility scooter during the day you may do so at the ECV Rental location. You’ll find it right outside of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance near the Stroller Rentals. Please note that Scooter charging is limited and subject to availability.

I hope this answers your question. Please head back plan to planDisney if you think of any more!
