Hello there, Alice. Thank you for stopping by planDisney to chat about your question.
Alice, as of right now, there are no temperature screenings when entering the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks or Resorts. Of course, this could change in the future since everything is so uncertain right now. However, there hasn't been temperature screening for quite some time now so I don't think that will return, but you never know. Keep an eye out over on the
Disney Parks Blog for all of the latest Covid-19 health and safety updates.
Currently, Guests are required to wear a face-covering at Walt Disney World when visiting indoor spaces such as ride queues, restaurants and resorts. If you feel comfortable, you are able to remove your face covering while outdoors at Walt Disney World. Most of the physical distancing markers have been removed from ride queues and the plexiglass dividers have been removed. We are returning to a world of magic that we all know and love more and more every day.
Because things change so frequently, I recommend checking out the
safety protocol webpage before your visit so you can be prepared for your vacation and know what to expect. If you haven't already, I also suggest heading over to
planDisney's new Instagram account and following along over there. You'll be kept up to date with news coming out of the Disney Parks and even get to follow along with panelists in the parks. It's fun and informative over there. I love checking it out daily.
I hope this helps, Alice. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help. Have fun and happy planning!
