Hi Alison,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. I’m so happy to hear you are planning to spend time at Walt Disney World’s water parks – they are so much fun, and the theming and treats offered there make them simply splash-tastic! As Moana might sing, see the line where sky meets the wave pool? It calls me!
Alison, the dress code for
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park does not prohibit wearing a t-shirt over your swimsuit. (You can see the dress code by visiting the web page for either water park and scrolling down to “Know Before You Go.”) Please note, though, that the lifeguards and Cast Members at both water parks reserve the right to request that the shirt is removed if they deem it a safety issue on any of the attractions. My very fair-skinned son wears a rash-guard swim shirt anytime he’s in the water, so this might be a good option for your husband; we’ve seen adult sized ones in sporting goods stores.
I hope you soak up waves and waves of fun at the water parks! For extra fun tips for your visit, check out my fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelists’
water park tips on the Disney Parks Blog. I highly concur about the mini-donuts!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
