Hi there, Emily!
A warm welcome to planDisney and thank you for stopping by with your question about Disney Resort hotels. It looks like you're planning to visit
The Most Magical Place on Earth next year - how exciting! Emily, although booking for 2024 has not become available quite yet, it's never too early to start planning a future Walt Disney World Resort holiday. I'm here to help you find the perfect
Disney Resort hotel to suit your needs!
Emily, when it comes to choosing a Disney Resort hotel, the possibilities are endless. At
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, Guests can enjoy viewing African animals from the comfort of their own private balconies! At
Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Guests are immersed in the magic and wonder of Disney animation. I like to choose my Disney Resort hotel based on location. Is there a specific theme park you plan to spend a lot of time in? For example, if you hope to hang out at EPCOT most days, you might consider
Disney's BoardWalk Inn,
Disney's Beach Club Resort, or
Disney's Yacht Club Resort. However, I understand that you're interested in Resort hotels offering functional windows. Emily, while Disney Resort hotels do not feature opening windows, many
Deluxe Resort hotels and
Deluxe Villas do have some rooms which offer private balconies and/or patios. While Moderate and Value Resort hotels do not offer private balconies or patios, they do feature fantastic outdoor public areas for Guests to enjoy!
Like you, sometimes I enjoy spending time outdoors in the fresh air as opposed to indoors utilizing air conditioning. For that reason, I particularly enjoy staying at Disney Resort hotels offering balconies or patios with picturesque views! A few of my favorite memories include watching the Electrical Water Pageant from my private balcony at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, waking up to the sight of a giraffe sleeping outside my balcony at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, and watching fireworks burst over Magic Kingdom Park with my son from our balcony at
Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Emily, if this is important to you, I recommend reaching out to the friendly Cast Members at the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations phone line ahead of your visit to request a room with a balcony or patio. Though room requests are never guaranteed, the Cast Members will be able to enter the request on your reservation, and the Resort hotel will do its best to accommodate you!
Emily, I hope that you find this information useful as you continue to plan your enchanting 2024 holiday! I'm wishing you a magical and memorable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any additional planning questions, please feel free to revisit us at planDisney anytime!
Warm wishes,
Lauren
