Hi, Betty! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
The
holidays are one of my favorite times to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. Nothing puts me in the Christmas spirit like seeing
Cinderella Castle transformed into a sparkling ice palace. It is nothing short of breathtaking! In fact, all of the holiday decor throughout the Walt Disney World Resort is absolutely gorgeous.
This year, the last
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is scheduled for November 1 and the first
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is scheduled for November 8. At some point between these two events, you can expect
Magic Kingdom Park to transform from fall decor to its holiday finest. In my experience, the entire Walt Disney World Resort transforms into a winter wonderland right around this time as well.
If you are planning to visit the week before Thanksgiving, you should be able to see the Walt Disney World Resort all decked out for the holiday season. Be sure to stop by
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to see some of my most favorite holiday decor. During the holiday season, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is adorned with a beautiful Victorian Christmas tree that stands over three stories high. As you admire the Christmas tree, you can also enjoy the delicious aroma of the giant gingerbread house which also decorates the resort hotel lobby.
I hope your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort adds some extra magic to your holiday season!
Samantha
