    Hi there - can you tell me when WDW will announce the events/parties taking place on New Years Eve in the resorts and restaurants . Thank you

    Welcome back to planDisney and thanks for returning with another wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. I'm thrilled to hear you'll be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth during the holiday season, Carrie-Anne! Now, before you begin packing your bags for a very merry holiday, let's discuss exciting New Year's Eve happenings at the Walt Disney World Resort.

    This year, the holiday celebration at The Most Magical Place on Earth runs from November 11 to December 31, 2023. During that time, Guests will enjoy stunning seasonal décor at the theme parks, Disney Resort hotels, and Disney Springs, and have the opportunity to purchase limited-time festive merchandise! At this time, according to the Hours & Events Calendar, the Fantasy In The Sky Fireworks show is slated to illuminate the skies over Magic Kingdom Park on December 30-31, 2023. Carrie-Anne, I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and the Walt Disney World Resort website for any additional announcements pertaining to New Year's Eve offerings. However, many Resort hotel-specific offerings may not be announced ahead of time. For that reason, I recommend inquiring with a Cast Member about New Year's Eve events when you check in at your Disney Resort hotel!

    Carrie-Anne, did you know a new nighttime spectacular will be debuting at EPCOT in early December? Beginning on December 5, 2023, Guests can marvel at Luminous: The Symphony of Us as World Showcase Lagoon comes to life with this brand-new evening entertainment offering! During your visit, I encourage you to check out the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, which ends on December 30, 2023. Though this is the shortest of the festivals held at EPCOT, it's one of my favorites due to its nostalgia and merriment!
