    Hi, can you tell me when the celebrations start for Walt Disney World 50th celebration. I have booked flights from England for Aug 2021 but I fear I may miss the celebrations because I think they may start Oct 2021.  Thanks Carol. X

    Hi Carol!

    No one throws a party like Disney, so I'm sure that the festivities for Walt Disney World Resort's 50th anniversary is going to be an amazing celebration. In fact, the theme parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs are already in the process of getting "neat and pretty" for the big party!

    We don't yet have any information about the 50th-anniversary celebration at Walt Disney World Resort, so we don't know when the party will take place or how long Guests will be able to celebrate it. I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as you continue planning to get the latest news and announcements about Walt Disney World Resort's 50th-anniversary celebration and everything you will be able to experience during your visit!

    I do have some encouraging news for you, though. During the Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration in 2015, which marked the park's 60th-anniversary, Guests were able to enjoy the party for over 15 months and the celebration started almost two months before the park's official birthday. So hopefully, you will be able to experience Walt Disney World Resort's anniversary celebration during your trip, since you will be visiting two months before the actual anniversary date!
