Can you tell me the walking distance (in time) from Building C, close to the lobby to the Dig site and also to the Three Bridges Bar and Grill. I believe we are in the Cabanas but I can't seem to find that information. Thank you in advance.

Hey there, Lucille! Welcome to planDisney!

Lucille, since Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort will be the backdrop for your upcoming pixie-dusted Walt Disney World adventure, your planning is off to a practically perfect start. Coronado Springs is one of my very favorite Resorts. With the beautiful grounds, spacious rooms, oh-so-fun pool, a variety of awesome Resort activities, and SO many fantastic dining options, Coronado Springs is the perfect magical home away from home.

One of the things I love so much about Coronado Springs is that no matter which building my room is located, nothing ever feels like a long walk away. The three bridges that help connect the different areas of the Resort (and inspired the name of one of my favorite dining spots in Walt Disney World) make navigating the Resort a breeze!

While I haven't exactly timed the walks, I would say that walking from the lobby at Gran Destino Tower to the Dig Site pool complex takes less than five minutes. Once you exit the first floor of the lobby, veer to the right, take the first walking path to the left across the water (Lago Dorado), and follow the signs right over to the Dig Site. Here, you will find the pool with a fun waterslide, the Explorers Campfire where you can roast marshmallows (a free activity!) and make s'mores (for a small fee) in the evenings, a volleyball court, an arcade, a playground, and Siestas Cantina, my favorite poolside dining location.

I would say that the walk from the lobby of Grand Destino Tower to Three Bridges Bar and Grill also takes five minutes, tops. Once you exit the lobby, take a left and walk along the water until you take a right onto the bridge. You will quickly be on your way to one of the best spots in all of Disney World to relax atop the lake while you grab some delicious food and a cocktail (if you're 21 or over, of course). Your biggest problem will be deciding between the margarita and the mojito!

If your room is located in the Cabanas section of the Resort, you're in for a treat! My family and I loved staying in the Cabanas for the central location close to the Gran Destino Tower, El Centro and the Dig Site. However, as someone who has stayed in every section of this fabulous Resort, every room is convenient and magical.

One more thing, Lucille! Don't miss dining at Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood. This beautiful restaurant is delicious and was one of my all-time favorite Disney dining experiences. And the best part? It's such a great value! In fact, if you're using the Disney Dining Plan, this incredible meal is only one Table Service credit. Enjoy!

I hope this was helpful, Lucille! Thanks for stopping by planDisney. Feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have. Wishing you a magical and memorable vacation!

    Life is the bubbles,
