Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Joan!
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is a great choice when
deciding which Walt Disney World Resort hotel to call “home” during your vacation. It’s known for larger-than-average Guest rooms, charming theming featuring the Disney horses (I’m pretty sure I could wander through the Carriage House looking for details all day), and its fabulous proximity to
Disney Springs.
Joan, I checked in with my dear friend and fellow Panelist,
Jerry, who did some on-the-ground resEARch for us. The Carriage House (which is the resort’s lobby and home to dining, shopping, the
High Rock Spring Pool, and transportation), is located very close to The Springs area of the resort. If you take a look at
this map of Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, you’ll note that The Springs buildings are the resort buildings closest to the Carriage House. It will depend on which building you’re in, along with your walking pace and route, but it looks like if you’re staying in The Springs, you’ll be about a quarter of a mile walk away from the Carriage House, or a walk of around 5 minutes or less.
I hope this helps and that you’re on your way to a relaxing vacation at
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. I’ve heard really great things about
The Artist’s Palette, which is a Quick-Service dining location at the resort. I recommend stopping by and browsing their baked goods –
they’ve been getting some attention for serving delicious cupcakes that are also works of art.
Have so much fun planning, and please come back and see us if we can answer any further questions.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
