Cheers, Nicola, and welcome back to planDisney! I completely understand why you want to be prepared, so let’s look over the horizon to see what’s in store for your sailing.
Get ready to pack your pirate garb because your
5-Night Cruise to Spain from Southampton will have a Pirate Night on the third night of your sailing after your stop in Vigo. While fireworks are not planned, you’ll still get to party with your fellow scalawags onboard and meet all your favorite
Disney Characters in their pirate attire.
Speaking of what to wear, I’ve seen some pretty impressive outfits on
Pirate Night. My go-to is a white shirt with a corset, black pants, red shoes, and the pirate bandana we find in our stateroom before dinner. I’ve also seen families create fun matching t-shirts specifically for that evening. It also presents a great opportunity to take pictures with some of the
professional photographers onboard.
The rest of the dining attire is considered “Cruise Casual”, so feel free to dress as comfortably as you’d like. If you do decide to bring something fancier to wear, I suggest doing it the night you eat at the
Royal Court. And if there’s anything else that comes up before you set sail, I hope you’ll visit us again here at
planDisney.
Bon voyage,
Sami
