Hi Samuel,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. I checked in with my coffee-loving husband on this one, because we have recently stayed at
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort and his over-caffeinated brain remembers all the important details related to his beloved wake-up elixir.
On our last two visits to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, our room has featured a two-cup coffee maker that uses
Joffrey’s Coffee-brand coffee packets. These resemble tea bags, but they are filled with coffee grounds, and you insert them flat into a kind of drawer in the machine. The machine then runs water through the packet and into a cup. I have never seen this style of coffee packet in a grocery store, though you may have luck finding them online.
Samuel, you’ll find that the Mousekeeping staff does an excellent job of keeping your room’s supply of coffee packets, tea bags, sweeteners and creamer well-stocked, so you may not need to order any coffee to your room. I completely understand that you may have a favorite brand of coffee you’d like to have (I travel with tea bags, so I get it); if that’s the case, I recommend calling the resort directly at (407) 939-1000 to ask for specifications so you can see if it’s possible to order your own.
As a huge fan of Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, I must give you my favorite piece of advice, which is to get up early with your cup of coffee and enjoy it outside while watching the gorgeous Florida sunrise over Lago Dorado. I did this every morning on my last stay there, and it was such a peaceful and lovely way to begin my Disney day.
Wising you a magical – and caffeinated! – vacation,
Robyn
