Hi there Erin!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. My family loves the proximity of the Disneyland Resort theme parks,
Disneyland Resort Hotels, and
Downtown Disney District. Even though you can manage to get around the entire resort on foot, there are still many ways to save energy while enjoying fun modes of transportation!
If you plan on
parking at the theme parks, you can take a shuttle or bus to the park entrances. We also like to travel to Disneyland Park in style aboard the
Disneyland Monorail while taking in some fantastic views. Within Disneyland Park there are also a few ways to travel while resting your feet. Our favorite is to take a scenic ride on the Disneyland Railroad. These trains make four different stops for a unique way to get around quickly and easily. While onboard you can also view the stunning Rivers of America and Grand Canyon and Primeval World dioramas. I also suggest starting your morning with rides on the classic
Main Street Vehicles in Disneyland Park. In Disney California Adventure Park, you will definitely want to hop aboard the
Red Car Trolley to take in the sights down Buena Vista Street and Hollywood Land while resting those legs! My son just loves hearing the "Ding! Ding!" of this beautiful vintage trolley.
I hope this helps, and have a magical day!
