Hello, can you tell me how much time I should allow to travel from the Old Key West Resort (the hospitality house area) to the Be Our Guest restaurant in Magic Kingdom for breakfast? Thank you for your help!

    Hi Kara,

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. What a wonderful day you have planned! Disney's Old Key West Resort is one of my favorite Disney Vacation Club resorts. It is calm and relaxing, with a laid-back theme of the Florida Keys. Heading to Magic Kingdom to dine at Be Our Guest Restaurant will be truly magical! The setting of this dining location is positively breathtaking.

I am glad that you are considering your travel time so that you arrive at Be Our Guest Restaurant in plenty of time for your reservation. From the Hospitality House at Disney's Old Key West Resort, you will need to catch a bus to Magic Kingdom, and then you will need to enter Magic Kingdom and walk to Be Our Guest Restaurant. Considering both time that you might need to wait for the bus, ride to Magic Kingdom, enter the park, as well as walking time, I would estimate that this trip should take about an hour. To be safe, I suggest that you leave yourself 90 minutes. If you arrive at Magic Kingdom early, you can take in the sights strolling down Main Street, U.S.A at a leisurely pace. Perhaps you would even have time for a spin on Prince Charming Regal Carrousel on your way to breakfast. Better to be early and have a little time to spend than to be late and feel stressed, I think!

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Kara. Have a wonderful time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
