Ahoy, Gregory!
Thanks for cruising by with your question.
Our family recently took our last cruise with our oldest daughter being able to visit the
Youth Clubs. She recently celebrated her 18th birthday, so our next voyage will open up all kinds of new experiences for her onboard!
Disney Cruise Line wants to make sure that
all guests have an amazing time on their Disney Cruise Line vacation, so they cater to
all age groups, from the littlest buccaneers to the "young at heart"! Young adults ages 18-20 have their own group designed for their age range - the 1820 Society. This exclusive group gets together for lots of activities and meetups throughout each sailing.
On embarkation day, the 1820 Society will typically have a meetup where they'll gauge a level of interest in the group, and create a schedule of activities for that particular sailing. I encourage your 20-year-old to attend this first get-together to meet the other cruisers his age, and help with the planning. Typical activities include lunches, mini-golf, trivia, dessert socials, sports meet-ups, and more.
Your young adult cruiser will also have access to other adult areas on the ship, including Senses Spa and Salon,
Quiet Cove Pool, Cove Cafe (my husband's favorite coffee spot), and the entertainment district in the evenings.
I hope you and your boys have an amazing time on your cruise, and that they both find lots of activities to keep them busy and engaged throughout your sailing!
Have a magical day! - Diane W.
