Can you tell me what the small drops are like on the Frozen Ever After ride? Are any of them bigger than the drop at Pirates of the Caribbean?

I hope the cold doesn’t bother you, Kelly, because Frozen Ever After is the “coolest” ride in all of Epcot! My kids both enjoy seeing the amazing animations, lights, and smooth animatronics that really bring this attraction alive.

If you are very familiar with the water drop in Magic Kingdom’s Pirates of the Caribbean, then you’ll know exactly what to expect in Elsa’s ride. There are two drops in this attraction, the first one sailing backwards as you watch Elsa’s magic in front of you. It’s very much like backing down a driveway in a car, smooth, rolling and not steep.  The second is a forwards drop, nearly identical to that in pirates, but in the light… and snow… and cool air. From what I remember from the Maelstrom attraction that lived in the same building years before, the track was hardly changed, but the magic has expanded!

I often ride Frozen Ever After with my toddler, her first trip down the frozen fairway being when she was not even 2 years old, so I’m sure your entire family will love it! Say hi to Sven for me… he’s my favorite part of the ride! ~ Lindsey P.
