Hi Joanne!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so happy to greet a fellow North Carolinian!
Since my family is planning a trip for Thanksgiving week this year, we JUST made our advanced dining reservations, so I am glad to see you planning those as well. Given the popularity of these restaurants, I recommend that you consider either a lunch or dinner reservation for Thanksgiving Day.
Liberty Tree Tavern is another one of our favorite Thanksgiving Day restaurants. Review the restaurant websites and menus as it gets closer to your visit as any specific additions regarding Thanksgiving meals and/or changes will be noted. For now, here are the menu links for your convenience:
Note the prices for each meal period on the respective menus. Also remember that the Disney Parks Blog posts up-to-date information about changing dining experiences at the Walt Disney World Resort. Take a look at last year's post,
Enjoy Delicious Dining Experiences This Holiday Season at Walt Disney World Resort to get a sense of other restaurant possibilities during your visit. And, always keep an eye on any
operational updates as there may be changes to dining and entertainment options during the dates of your visit.
My family also loves to do an EPCOT® International Festival of the Holidays -
Candlelight Processional Dining Package. Last year's event, part of several
Magical Happenings at All Four Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks, ran from November 29-December 30. Typically, these dining packages are a set price at each restaurant. We make our dining reservations according to the specific showtime we wish to experience. Last year, we did a lunch reservation that allowed us access to the 5:00 p.m. show.
Also, last year, we had to pre-pay for the Candlelight Processional dining package when I made the reservation. If you do this experience, I suggest that you still arrive to the theater at least 30 minutes in advance. Once the line starts moving, it moves pretty quickly, but the earlier you arrive, the better choice of seats you will have!
Joanne, the
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort always remind me that gratitude, love, joy, and peace bring us together in powerful ways. Wishing you all of these as you plan your visit!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
