Hi Kim!
As much as I love being catered to at a resort--I also LOVE being able to make my own food and really feel AT HOME. So, I like the sound of your vacation already!
I've stayed at the Cabins at Fort Wilderness and they include a full kitchen (with a real fridge, stove/oven, toaster, microwave, pots/pans, etc.). With a separate bedroom (full sized bed & bunks) plus a pull-down in the living room you can sleep up to 6 people!
Also, any of the
Deluxe Villas will have a kitchen. Some one-bedrooms sleep 5 (sometimes only 4) and the two bedrooms sleep anywhere from 8-9 people! I haven't stayed at these on property--but I did stay at Disney's Vero Beach Resort and the design is very similar. You will feel right at home, I assure you!
If you have any other specific questions about rooms, please let me know!
