Hiya Barbara. A warm welcome from all of us at planDisney to you. We're so glad you stopped by to ask us this question. I'm also super excited to see that you will be visiting during
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. We're less than a month away from spooky time and I can't wait!
Before we can get to all of the fun things that you will be experiencing during your visit, let's make sure you're all set with your theme park ticket and reservation. Great news, if you have a
park hopper ticket, you will only need to make a theme park reservation for the park where you want to start your day. As soon as the clock strikes 11:00 a.m., you can hop, skip or jump across the esplanade to start enjoying the other park. You can hop between the two parks as many times as you like. Breakfast in Disneyland and lunch in Disney California Adventure Park (or vice versa)? Yes, please!
You can double-check to make sure your ticket is a park hopper by opening the
Disneyland app and tapping the "☰" icon to open the menu. Next, tap the "Tickets and Passes" tile where you will find your theme park ticket. Above the barcode, it should say "Park Hopper Ticket." As long as you have your starting park reservation and a park hopper ticket, you're all set.
Now let's talk about the frighteningly good time you're going to have. The resort will be decked out in its spooktacular best. One of my favorite sights this time of year is the giant Mickey pumpkin that greets you as soon as you enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy. The characters will be dressed in their ghoulish garb and there will be plenty of dreadfully delightful seasonal eats. There's a seasonal Mickey-shaped mummy macaron that usually makes an appearance during this time that's absolutely to die for. It's cookies and cream flavored and I'm hoping it returns this year. Keep an eye on
Disney Parks Blog for a Disney Eats post that will detail all of the seasonal offerings.
Barbara, I hope this has been helpful and I hope you're getting excited about your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. Please come back to ask us any other questions you may have before your visit. Until then, happy haunting!
