    How can I tell if I purchased the genie plus service with my tickets

    Hey there, hi there, Lesley! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you stopped by with your ticket question and I'm happy to help!

    The easiest way to check to see if you purchased Disney Genie+ with your ticket is to check back in your emails for your confirmation receipt. It would mention it there. If you don't have access to that, I believe that the ticket information should show Disney Genie+ in the title when you look at your tickets in the Disneyland app. Once you enter the park you can "Get Started" on the Disneyland app homepage and it will walk you through the Disney Genie process, if you can make a Lightning Lane selection you are all set! 

    To check your ticket type in the Disneyland app and click on the three horizontal lines at the bottom right of the screen. On the next screen, click on "Tickets and Passes". Hopefully, your tickets are already linked to your account, and if they are you should see the ticket description say something like "1-Day Tier 5 Park Hopper TIcket with Disney Genie+ Service", or something similar depending on how many days, the tier type, and ticket type. If your tickets are not linked, click the "+" on the top right of the "Tickets and Passes" screen and you will be able to enter the ticket ID numbers to link your tickets. You'll want to do this before you arrive anyway so that you have easy access to those tickets to scan in at the park entrance.

    If all of this still doesn't help you easily find if your tickets were purchased with Disney Genie+, you can reach out to Guest Services by phone or chat with them in the Disneyland app. These Cast Members should be able to look into your account and see this information. And if your tickets do not include Disney Genie+, I'm happy to report that purchasing it once you get into the park is a quick and easy process through the Disneyland app. This is the only way I've purchased Disney Genie+ so far.
