Hi, Kirsten! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Having traveled all over the world, I can tell you that Walt Disney World Resort is one of the only places where I can dine with my family, including my daughter who is allergic to tree nuts, with virtually no worry! Disney Table Service and Quick Service locations offer a variety of options for those with
special dietary needs. When making a Table Service Advanced Dining Reservation, you can even indicate the peanut allergy and the server should know about the dietary request when you arrive, if they do not mention it, simply inform them and they will take great care of you! We have had the chef come to our table many times to discuss the menu with us before ordering. Although we have done many buffet meals at Walt Disney World Resort, you may want to avoid these as there is no guarantee that other Guests haven’t accidentally cross-contaminated the items. When it comes to Quick Service locations, many Disney Restaurants have new Allergy Menus which indicated which foods are free of allergens. At Magic Kingdom Park, Quick Service Restaurants with Allergy Menus include Columbia Harbour House, Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe and Pinocchio Village Haus At Epcot: Electric Umbrella, Liberty Inn and Sunshine Seasons. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios: ABC Commissary, Backlot Express and Catalina Eddie’s and at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park: Flame Tree Barbecue and Satu'li Canteen (all subject to change and availability).
If there are no Allergy Menus available, simply ask a friendly Cast Member who will help you navigate the proper choices for your son. Have a magical vacation and please come and see us again soon,
Jen
