Hi there, Kristin! Thanks for stopping back by to see us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so glad you've been finding our advice helpful!
This is such a great question, Kristin. When you're trying to plan a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, you want maximum fun and minimum crowds! As a local, I can tell you that in my experience,
Magic Kingdom Park probably does welcome more visitors on Saturdays than other days of the week. It's usually the busiest Park in general, and Saturdays are when we Floridians tend to drop by, so you likely would see higher crowds. If you can easily adjust your schedule to visit Magic Kingdom Park on a different day, it certainly can't hurt.
I checked the
Park Hours for your dates, and I see that Magic Kingdom Park will have morning
Extra Magic Hours on Friday, June 7. If you're staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, that may be a good time to go to Magic Kingdom and take advantage of the early opening exclusive to Resort hotel Guests. You can hop on the most popular attractions first thing, and then start heading toward attractions with short wait times as the Park officially opens for the day.
And I have a Mom's Tip for you, Kristin: If you take advantage of morning Extra Magic Hours, try to schedule your
FastPass+ attractions for late morning or early afternoon. That way, you can maximize your time by using FastPass+ during the busiest part of the day.
I hope this helps you plan your magical visit to Walt Disney World, Kristin. Please come back and see us again real soon!
