Boo to you, Penny! Fall magic is alive and well at the Walt Disney World Resort, and it looks like you're heading into the fun in just a few more days! I had the opportunity to see
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away for the first time this past week, and I was in awe of the entire, magical production! My favorite part was how many characters were included and the special effects and details each float had as it passed by!
Penny, as you may already know,
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is taking place this month on certain nights at Magic Kingdom Park, which means the park will be closing early at 6 PM on party nights. On these nights, there is no showing of
Happily Ever After or Disney Starlight. Currently, on non-party nights in October, you can expect the first run of Disney Starlight to hit the streets at 8 PM, followed by Happily Ever After at 9 PM, and the second run of Disney Starlight at 10 PM.
A few things to keep in mind as you plan for a night of magical entertainment - Disney Starlight will run at 8 PM, starting in Frontierland and following the traditional parade route, but the second run will reverse the route, starting at the front of the park and heading back to Frontierland. We found that the second parade was less crowded, and we enjoyed catching it in Frontierland, where we had a little more space to spread out.
Penny, I hope this helps! If you have any other questions before or during your vacation, we'd love to see you again here at
planDisney!
Magic Awaits,
Alison
