    Can you tell me when the new Art of Animation Resort is due to open?

    Hi Julie! Disney's Art of Animation Resort is slated to open up in phases throughout 2012. The first phase is expected to be completed Summer of 2012. The second phase is scheduled to be completed by Winter of 2012. The resort will consist of four buildings featuring larger-than-life theming drawing inspiration from four classic animated Disney films, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, and Disney-Pixar's Cars and Finding Nemo. Accommodations at Disney's Art of Animation Resort will feature themed room interiors. Rooms planned within The Little Mermaid Building will be conventional resort rooms and smaller than those in the remaining three buildings. Rooms in The Lion King Building, Finding Nemo Building, and Cars Building, are planned to exclusively feature Family Suites which can accommodate up to six guests.
