Can you tell me what it's like to be on a very merry time cruise? What to expect. I will be sailing during thanksgiving day, so also wondering how they combine the two holidays and do you think we should pack some disney Christmas tee shirts? Thanks 4 info

    Ahoy, Lisa!
I'm so excited to tell you about Disney Cruise Line's Very Merrytime Cruises!

The only thing better than a Disney Cruise...is a Disney Holiday Cruise! All four Disney ships will be transformed into winter wonderlands, with giant Christmas trees, shiny lights, and life-size gingerbread houses. Not only are the decorations incredible, but the ship will be full of excitement with holiday activities and entertainment. Definitely pack your Disney Christmas shirts - you'll be all set for a festive holiday photo! (Perfect for a Christmas card, don't you think?)

    Fun holiday enhancements include:
Deck the Deck Tropical Holiday Party
    King Triton's Tree Lighting Ceremony
Holiday Meet and Greets with Disney Friends (and Santa Claus too!)
    Teen-Only/Tween-Only Holiday Parties
    Holiday Storytelling
    Themed Activities and Crafts
    Special Holiday Merchandise

The celebration continues on Disney's private island, Castaway Cay. Where else can you see a "snow flurry" on a tropical island? Disney magic makes it happen!

Wow, you have lots to be thankful for - a cruise that makes the most of two holidays! No cooking or cleaning this year...Disney Cruise Line will take care of all the details. You'll enjoy a traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings, and no dishes to wash when you're done! All your favorite Disney characters will be decked out in holiday-themed costumes for fun photo ops. No need to worry about missing your favorite football games - there will be plenty of places on the ship to catch all the action. And what better place for a Thanksgiving nap than on the pool deck with an ocean breeze?

I hope you have a very merry time on your holiday cruise! Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas to you! - Diane W.
