Can you tell me about the Member Lounges I have heard about?

    Welcome Home, Brian!

And a great big beautiful welcome back to planDisney!  As a Disney Vacation Club Member for the last 22 years, I love chatting with my fellow DVC neighbors about all of the benefits of Membership. One of my favorites is access to the Member Lounges at both the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts.  These spaces are exclusive for eligible Members - those eligible Member Extras. Our family loves taking a mid-day break to relax and recharge our pixie dust (and our phones) at the quiet Members-Only spaces.   Let's look at these magical spots:

Walt Disney World has three Member Lounges available to eligible Members.  We have loved having an air-conditioned space, comfy seats, and complimentary snacks and beverages – or even a spot to bring our quick service meal – at Disney Vacation Club ImaginAtrium in EPCOT.  This past spring, we got to rest and recharge at the new Magic Kingdom Member Lounge, McKim's Mile House.  For fireworks viewing, the Top of the World Lounge is complimentary premium seating for eligible Members to enjoy the Nighttime Spectacular over Magic Kingdom Castle, while enjoying the wicked wonderland in which you are immersed.  We love the option to book Wicked Wind Down or the Enchantment At The Top Dessert Party to enjoy nighttime Disney treats prior to the show.

Disneyland Park’s Star View Station Member Lounge is equally as charming and easily accessible.
When our kids were little, it was a wonderful place to sit while they napped in the stroller. And as they got older, the kid-sized chairs and TV with Disney cartoons were a great spot for them to decompress and rest their walking feet before we went on with the rest of our Disney day. Now that my kids are teens, having a space to recharge and refuel allows us to enjoy the parks from rope drop to park close.

To access the theme park Member Lounges, you can walk up and present your Digital Member ID and your photo ID to access the Lounge with your party. Sometimes, there is a waitlist, in which case you can give your name and you will be notified when you can return to access the Lounges.

The Top of the World Lounge - A Villains' Lair operates a bit differently.  It is located at the top of Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. This wickedly wonderful space is open from 6:00 PM to midnight daily, subject to capacity restrictions and operating hours. Check-in time opens at 6:00 p.m. and is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and food and drinks are available for purchase.  It is very popular, so early check-in is advised; however, if you want to assure you are able to visit, you can book the Wicked Wind Down or Enchantment At The Top Dessert Party by calling Member Services.

I hope this helps you, Brian! If you have any further Disney Vacation Club questions, soar back here to see me and I'll be so happy to help you.

    Magically Yours,
    Keri
