How can I tell if my Magic Bands will work? They are still "active," but farther up on the page it also says "you do not have a new Magicbands associated with this hotel stay."

    Hi Kimberly! Welcome to planDisney.

How excited are you to be arriving tomorrow at Walt Disney World Resort during The World's Most Magical Celebration? Indulge in some of the specialty-themed treats found in the 50th Anniversary Sips and Bites Guide. In all four theme parks, the golden Disney Fab 50 Character Collection statues are the perfect selfie backdrop. You can find Mickey and Minnie Mouse in the Hub at Magic Kingdom Park.

Oh, how I love my growing collection of MagicBands. Honestly, planning which MagicBands are packed for my Walt Disney World Resort stays has become part of the planning process. I am highly anticipating the arrival of the new MagicBand+ coming soon! I am eyeing the Disney Parks Blog for an announcement on the pending arrival of this new arm candy.

So, I read you have located your list of MagicBands associated with your My Disney Experience account. Great job! As long as your MagicBand is selected as "active" you are good to use that band for any of your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visits. Before each of my trips, I like to review my list and deactivate any MagicBands that will be staying home. I am assuming because of your message posted, you did not choose to order any new MagicBands for this visit, which is totally fine. Your current active MagicBands will do the job.

Did you know, you can now set up a Disney MagicMobile digital pass negating the need for a hard ticket or MagicBand? This came in handy on my last trip when I "gasp" forgot my MagicBands at home. To set up, simply open the My Disney Experience Mobile App, click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner, and select "Disney MagicMobile." Click on the "+" sign in the top right-hand corner, choose the guest name, and follow the prompts. After, make sure to add it to your Apple Wallet, Apple Watch, or digital wallet. I recommend setting your pass to "Express Mode' which will eliminate the need to unlock your device at the gate.

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your Walt Disney World Resort vacation question. We are always here to help.

    Keeping it Magical,
    Cindy
