Can you tell me how long it takes from ft wilderness to get to the parks? I'm not sure how much time to plan for as we have some breakfast reservations. Any tips on ft wilderness?

    Hello Amanda,

As with any form of transportation there are never any guarantees, but I will tell you that the bus terminal is located right by the petting farm and you are very close to the Magic Kingdom (so transport to there will be quicker than many of the other theme parks that are a further distance from Fort Wilderness Campground, of course).  There is also a courtesy boat service that will take you directly to the Kingdom.  I always allow myself 1 hour of travel time in case of unforseen circumstances, that way if we get there ahead of time there is always something to do to keep us occupied before our reservation and we won't miss our reservation either.

I love Fort Wilderness Campground, this is where I spent most of my childhood vacations and most of my memories were made here, good choice!!!!  Click on this link and you can get more information on what there is to see and do here, but to name a few, the campfire and marshmallow roast with Chip and Dale, petting zoo, boat rentals, and Horseback riding are some of my favorites.

    Have fun!
