Can you tell me how to link my Walt Disney World park reservations to my Magic Mobile passes. Also, I shared a pass on my Magic Mobile account with my wife, who added it to her wallet on her iphone She does not have her own My Disney Experince account.

    Hi Mark,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow Canadian!

Although it may seem like a minor change, I think that one of the most positive tech-related developments at Walt Disney World Resort over the past few years has been the ability to add my family’s Theme Park Tickets to our smart phones via Disney’s MagicMobile Service. I can’t tell you how many times we’ve reached a Theme Park, only to realize that someone left their MagicBand or Key to the World card back at the hotel… which meant standing in line at Guest Relations to get a new one issued. In a sense, with MagicMobile Service, eligible smart phones become your MagicBand, allowing you to access not only your Theme Park Tickets, but also your Disney Resorts Collection hotel room, Lightning Lane entrances and even your Disney PhotoPass Service pictures.

Because your phone will now act like any other MagicBand or Key to the World Card, the process for linking your Theme Park Reservations to your tickets is done much the same way: through your My Disney Experience account. You go into the app, make sure that every member of your party has valid admission associated with their profile and then make your reservations according to the number of days on your tickets. Once that’s done, any active MagicBands, cards or Magic Mobile passes on your phone will allow you to access the Theme Park on the day of your reservation.

I control my husband’s My Disney Experience profile, so I’m the one who makes our family’s Theme Park Reservations. I shared his MagicMobile pass with him so that he could add it to his phone, and it worked seamlessly during our last visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Because of this, if your wife has valid admission and a reservation associated with the day that she wishes to enter a Theme Park, she should be able to use the MagicMobile pass you shared with her on her phone with no problems, even if she doesn’t have her own profile.

I hope my answer helps you plan the perfect visit to the Disney Parks very soon. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
