    Can you tell me if Kilimanjaro Safaris runs during After Dark events?

    Hi Karen, 

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow Canadian!

    I love the Disney After Hours series of Special Events. I always love nighttime at Walt Disney World Resort, not only because of the fireworks and other nighttime spectaculars that light up the night sky, but also because of how beautiful the Theme Parks are when their lights are twinkling away. 

    Disney After Hours at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park is extra magical because of how truly beautiful that park is at night. You’re going to love roaming around Pandora: The World of Avatar and seeing the Tree of Life Awakenings during your visit. From what I understand, however, the animals do go to sleep once the park closes for the evening, and so Kilimanjaro Safaris and other animal viewing experiences aren’t available during the After Dark events.
