Hello! Can you tell me if the Jedi Training Academy is still operating at Hollywood Studios and, if so, how to join the show? Also, how best for my little guy to meet Lightning McQueen and Mater? Thank you!

    Hi there, Michael!

The Jedi Training Academy is still alive and well at Disney's Hollywood Studios! This experience is first-come, first-served. Each session accommodates twelve children between the ages of 4 and 12.; check your daily Times Guide for exact showtimes.

Your best bet to get your little guy signed up is to enter the Park at opening time (usually 9:00 AM, but you'll want to confirm that based on your specific dates and Extra Magic Hour offerings), and head right over to the Sounds Dangerous building to sign up for one of the sessions. You'll find a sign marking the Academy signup queue.

And what luck: Tow Mater and Lightning McQueen are both meeting and greeting fans at Luigi's Garage, also in Hollywood Studios! Again, you'll want a Times Guide - available at the Park entrance - for specific meting times, but they tend to be available on and off throughout the day. Just head on over to Luigi's Garage and have your camera ready!

    Have a wonderful time!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
