Can you tell me about the Hidden Mickey searches? I have heard about them...but where do you get the clues?

    Hey there fellow North Carolinian!

Hidden Mickeys are SO MUCH FUN that my family and I consider it essential to include at least one search on every Disney vacation! Our interest in this super cool scavenger hunt activity started when I bought the unofficial book "Hidden Mickeys: A Field Guide to Walt Disney World's Best Kept Secrets" for my son, who was 13 at the time. Our first search was at Disney's Wilderness Lodge and with the help of a printed sheet from the front desk of the resort (and some cast member assistance), we located all the Mickeys during our endeavor!

Be sure to check out the unofficial websites: www.hiddenmickeyguy.com and allears.net for some great searches all around Mickey Mouse's home!

The Disney Parks Blog also has some tips for Finding Hidden Mickeys at Disney Parks and there's also a neat video showcasing some of the Disneyland Hidden Mickeys to give you a general idea of what to look for on these popular searches.

Thanks for taking the time to visit us at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and feel free to send more questions our way in the days leading up to your trip! May your Disney vacation be practically perfect in every way!
