My family stayed at
Disney's Wilderness Lodge in June, and we fell in love. This Disney Resorts Collection hotel is absolutely gorgeous, with so much theming and Disney history throughout the Lodge. The view from our room was beautiful and peaceful, and the pool was fabulous. The dining options here are also excellent, and I'm thrilled to hear you're thinking about dining at Geyser Point Bar & Grill because it was one of the best meals we had!
Geyser Point Bar & Grill is a lounge, meaning that reservations are not accepted. However, the covered seating area is quite limited, so you may find there is a wait for a table inside the actual lounge. When you arrive, approach the host station and a Cast Member will tell you the wait time. When we ate there on a Saturday night, the wait times were quite long, so we opted to sit at a table outside and place a
Mobile Order for Geyser Point Bar & Grill To Go. It was a lovely night and we had a great view of the lake, so I had no complaints! If eating inside the lounge is a priority for you, I recommend arriving at a non-peak time, like for a mid-afternoon early dinner (I am a huge fan of doing this and then eating a snack or dessert later in the evening).
Janeen, my husband and I both ordered the
Bison Bacon Cheeseburger after my dear friend and fellow panelist Jerry M. told us it was the best burger at Walt Disney World. I have to tell you: it was absolutely delicious. I am drooling a little just telling you about it! We also ordered the Cheesy Barbeque Brisket with House-Made Chips and that was also super tasty!
I hope you enjoy your dinner at Geyser Point Bar & Grill! I highly recommend taking some time to wander around Disney's Wilderness Lodge after dinner, as there's so much to see. If you're interested in Disney history, the Carolwood Pacific Room is home to a very special railway car from Walt's childhood. If you'll have kiddos with you, stop in the lobby and ask for a copy of the Hidden Mickey Scavenger Hunt.
