Can you tell me if the fried chicken is the same at 50s Prime Time Cafe in Hollywood Studios as it is at the Hoop Dee Doo Revue show? With so many restaurant choices, we're wondering if we can do one or the other this trip. But that chicken is a MUST!

    Hi Heather!

I think we're secretly best foodie friends because I too have an upcoming Walt Disney World Resort trip where I'm trying to find the famous food and fixin's from Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue! I took my parents to Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue in March and while my mom is still talking about how much fun the show was, my mouth still waters when thinking about those ribs.

While some people with lesser palates might not taste the subtle differences between the fried chicken at 50's Prime Time Cafe and Hoop Dee Doo, you and I will know the difference. And while both are very delicious in their own way, and both are highly lauded as 'The Best Fried Chicken' at Walt Disney World Resort, they are indeed just a bit different.

I do, however have some amazing chicken news: both P&J's Southern Takeout as well as Trail's End Restaurant, both located in Pioneer Hall, share a kitchen with Hoop Dee Doo. Trail's End includes the World's best fried chicken on their daily dinner and weekend brunch buffets, while P&J's serves it up all day everyday on its own or as a combo with Hoop Dee Doo's famous ribs. Best of all neither location requires a Theme Park or Dinner Show ticket. You could even time your meal to then catch Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long located a bus stop away!

I hope this helped, Heather, and We'll See You Real Soon!
