    From what I can tell the fastest way from Magic Kingdom to down town disney is to take bus to saratoga resort then walk to down town disney to Captain Jack restaurant where i have reservations one night is this right?

    Hi Sheri! That is certainly one possible way to get to Downtown Disney but there are other options that might be easier and just as fast.

    Of course the fastest way would be to walk to the Contemporary resort and catch a taxi. This might cost up to about $20 but it would get you there quickly and without a lot of stress that can come with riding a bus during a busy time.

    Another option is to take the bus to Saratoga Springs but then you can catch the boat over to Downtown Disney...this is about a 35 minute trip if you make all your connections without waiting. (which isn't likely so add time in)

    Your last option is to walk (or monorail) to the Contemporary resort and catch the Downtown Disney bus from there. This trip is just a tad longer perhaps and about 45 minutes. Again add time for connections.

    Have a great evening in Downtown Disney.....if you have time be sure and take the balloon up to see the property at night. It is an unbelievable sight!
