Hello. Can you tell me how far is the walk from Yacht Club to Epcot and Hollywood Studios? Thank you

    Hey there, Betsy!

Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! It's fun to have you here and fun to help you.

When I'm vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort, I love staying at EPCOT area Resorts because my family and I love the convenience of walking to EPCOT and to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Disney's Yacht Club Resort is one of those Resorts that I find perfectly situated. The stroll around Crescent Lake makes for a relaxing and enjoyable walk. The great news I'm happy to share is that you can see for yourself how convenient the walk will be for you. If you use the My Disney Experience mobile app, you can get directions to guide you all around Walt Disney World Resort. Using the small map marker icon in the My Disney Experience mobile app, you can get directions, and you'll see the easy walking distance from Disney's Yacht Club Resort to the International Gateway entrance for EPCOT. I'd guess the walk is maybe a few tenths of a mile depending on where you're starting out from at the Resort and where you're heading to in EPCOT. You can use the same directions feature to see how to walk from Disney's Yacht Club Resort to Disney's Hollywood Studios. I'd guess that walk is maybe a little more than a mile depending on where you're starting out from at the Resort and where you're heading to in the theme park. When using the interactive map, I find it helpful to select a shop, dining location, or attraction to see detailed step-by-step directions.

Betsy, in addition to having easy walks to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios, I think you'll find Disney's BoardWalk area a simply delightful spot for venturing out on walks to shops and dining locations.

Enjoy your Walt Disney World Resort stay!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
